Vadose Zone Journal
An online journal providing an outlet for research and assessment of the vadose zone.
Purpose and Scope:
The scientific community has an increasing need for effective dissemination of information about the physical, chemical, and biological processes operating in the vadose zone—the region between the soil surface and the water table. This international, multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal is dedicated to the research, assessment, and sustainable management of the vadose zone. The journal is available online only. The Geological Society of America is a cooperator.
Intended Readership:
The journal is of interest to scientists and researchers in a variety of disciplines, including soil physics, geophysics, hydrogeology, geochemistry, soil chemistry, microbiology, terrestrial ecology, environmental engineering, and agricultural engineering. The audience also includes the construction, petroleum, and chemical industries, as well as state and federal agencies such as EPA, DOE, DOD, NASA, and NSF.
