 Purpose and Scope:
The journal publishes papers interpreting the outcome of scholarly inquiry, investigation, modeling, or experimentation designed to develop new or revise existing concepts or techniques in any phase of soil science. Areas of coverage include soil physics and chemistry, soil biology and biochemistry, soil fertility and plant nutrition, pedology
(genesis, morphology, and classification), soil and water management and
conservation, mineralogy, and soil and plant analysis. Among the soils
reported on besides cropland are forest and range soils and wetlands.
The journal is available in on-line, print, and year-end CD-ROM format.
Intended Readership:
Administrators, research directors, and department heads in university, government, and industry personnel subscribe to the journal.
