Purpose and Scope:
The PLANT MANAGEMENT NETWORK (PMN) mission is to provide online plant
science resources that enhance the health, management, and production of agricultural
and horticultural crops. PMN’s core resources include
four peer-reviewed journals, titled
Crop Management, Forage and Grazinglands, Plant Health Progress, and Applied
Turfgrass Science, as well as efficacy trials, titled Arthropod
Management Tests and Plant Disease Management Reports. PMN also offers value-added resources, including
PMN Image Collections, symposium and meeting proceedings, an
Education Center featuring webcasts, the PMN Plant Science Database, Focus on Soybean, the PMN
Partner Extension Search, and PMN’s Cross-Journal Search.
PMN serves a multidisciplinary audience of more than 30,000 users
monthly. Its collective scope includes Agronomy, Agricultural
Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Botany, Crop Science, Ecology,
Entomology, Forage Management, Forestry, Horticulture, IPM, Natural
Resources, Nematology, Plant Pathology, Range Science, Seed Science,
Soil Science, Turf Management, and Weed Science. A not-for-profit online
resource supported by partners and subscribers, PMN provides an ideal
medium for anyone interested in applied agricultural and hoticultural information.
Intended Readership:
Agronomists, bacteriologists, biologists, botanists, crop advisers,
crop scientists, ecologists, educators, entomologists, extension agents,
foresters, growers, horticulturists, microbiologists, mycologists,
nematologists, plant pathologists, range managers, researchers, seed
